The design and manufacture of our switchboards is in accordance with the requirements of:

ABB ArTu Modular Switchboards

Power Electric Switchboards has experience in manufacturing the ABB ArTu Modular LowVoltage Switchboard system. The system has current ratings up to 4000A, Service Voltage 1000V, and maximum short time withstand current of 105kA for 1 sec.

Unlike other modular systems, ArTu is made and tested by ABB SACE, the division of ABB that makes the circuit breakers.

The ArTu system was created with the specific needs of professionals involved in building and installing switchgear in mind.

The systems are constantly being updated based on numerous projects that have employed the the ArTu series, including airports, underground railways, data centres, pumping stations, home automations, tunnels and railways.

Key features of the system are:

  • Functional system available in various widths and depths
  • Designed and tested to fit ABB circuit breakers
  • Robust structure made of hot galvanized sheet steel with powder-coated external cladding
  • Simple system that allows for changes to be made easily during design and construction
  • Rear connected as standard
  • Simple achievement of Form 4(b) segregation, up to IP65
  • Classified as a TTA to AS/NZS 3439.1, up to 4000A 105kA 1 sec
  • 50kA for 300ms Unlimited Arc-fault containment tested

B&R Systems Signature SE Modular Switchboards


B&R’s Signature SE is a type tested, fully certified modular switchboard building system, suitable for commercial and industrial applications. The system has an ongoing certification program to ensure compliance to all the latest design codes.

Certified to:

  • AS/NZS.3439.1 - 2002
  • BS EN 60439.1:1999
  • IEC 60439.1:2004

Key features of the system are:
